EPA invited members of the chemical industry to Washington D.C. to be recognized under DfE’s new program the “Safe Detergent Stewardship Initiative” (SDSI – nicknamed “Sudsy”). Thirty four chemical companies were identified as environmental leaders, “Champions” in the use and encouragement of safer surfactants. For eliminating surfactants of special concern, and substiting more biodegradable materials in their formulations.
US Formula Technology was among them.
EPA has many more “Partners” preparing to qualify as champions later this year.
